VCIP 2024 will be held at International Conference Center, Waseda University, which is located in Shinjuku, one of the downtown districts of Tokyo. International Conference Center has Masaru Ibuka Auditorium, co-founder of Sony Corporation, and three conference rooms.

Access to the Venue
Tokyo provides excellent direct air access for overseas travelers and is served by two international airports: Narita and Haneda.These two airports offer over 2,400 international flights per week in total, connecting a total of 119 cities around the world.
Narita International Airport is about 60 km from central Tokyo and is easily accessed by either the Narita Express in just 40 to 60 minutes or the new Sky Access line in 36 minutes. Haneda International Airport is even more convenient, located within 15km (15 minutes by train) from central Tokyo. A well-developed public transportation network allows easy and convenient movement in and around the city. Major modes of transportation include trains, subways, buses, and taxis.

To get from Waseda Station (Tozai Line) to Waseda University International Conference Center, follow these directions:
- Exit Waseda Station: From the Tozai Line platform at Waseda Station, take the A1 exit.
- Head towards the main street: Once you exit, you will be on Waseda-dori (Waseda Avenue). Turn left to head east on the main road.
- Walk toward Waseda University: Continue straight on Waseda-dori for about 5-7 minutes (roughly 500 meters).
- Turn onto the university campus: You will reach a large intersection, and on your left, you will see the main entrance to Waseda University. Cross the street and head into the university grounds.
- Reach the International Conference Center: The International Conference Center is located near the Waseda University main campus, specifically around the Shin Waseda Building area. Look for the large building with modern architecture.
The walk should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic and walking speed. If you're unsure, there are often signs around the area that point you to the university facilities.
From Nishi-Waseda Station (Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line)
To get from Nishi-Waseda Station (Fukutoshin Line) to Waseda University International Conference Center, follow these detailed directions:
- Exit Nishi-Waseda Station: Upon arriving at Nishi-Waseda Station on the Fukutoshin Line, take the 1st exit (Exit 1), which leads you to the main street Waseda-dori (Waseda Avenue).
- Turn left onto Waseda-dori: Once you exit the station, you will be facing Waseda-dori. Turn left to walk east along Waseda-dori, heading towards the main entrance of Waseda University.
- Walk towards Waseda University: Continue walking along Waseda-dori for approximately 5-7 minutes (about 500 meters). During this time, you will pass various buildings, including shops and cafes.
- Cross the intersection: As you approach a large intersection, you will see the entrance to Waseda University on your left-hand side. This is the main campus of Waseda University, and there will be a crosswalk at the intersection.
- Enter Waseda University: Cross the street at the intersection and walk toward the main entrance of Waseda University. You'll see signs for the university campus and the general direction towards the buildings.
- Locate the International Conference Center: After entering the university campus, continue walking straight. The Waseda University International Conference Center is located around the Shin Waseda Building area. This building has modern architecture and should be visible once you get closer to the campus core.
The entire walk should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your walking speed and the time it takes to cross the intersection. If you're uncertain about the exact path, there are usually signs or maps on campus that can guide you to the International Conference Center.
Alternatively, you can take bus 早77 (Toward Waseda), then get off at Nishi-Waseda stop. From there, the walk should takes around 5-7 minutes.
From Takadanobaba Station (Yamonote Line)
To get from Takadanobaba Station (Yamanote Line) to Waseda University International Conference Center, follow these detailed directions:
- Exit Takadanobaba Station: After arriving at Takadanobaba Station on the Yamanote Line, take Exit 1 (the main exit) toward Waseda University.
- Walk toward Waseda University: Upon exiting, you'll be on Waseda-dori (Waseda Avenue). Turn right and walk straight along Waseda-dori. You should immediately start seeing signs pointing toward Waseda University.
- Cross the street: Walk along Waseda-dori for about 5-10 minutes (roughly 500 meters). You will approach a major intersection with a traffic light. Cross the street at the intersection to get closer to the university campus.
- Continue straight toward the university campus: After crossing, continue walking straight along Waseda-dori, and you will enter the main campus area of Waseda University. You'll notice a large stone entrance and banners for the university as you approach.
- Locate the International Conference Center: Once inside the campus, look for signs directing you to the International Conference Center. It is located near the Shin Waseda Building area, a modern building with glass and steel architecture. The building is not far from the main entrance, so you should be able to spot it relatively easily.
The total walk should take about 15-20 minutes depending on walking speed and traffic conditions. If you get lost, feel free to ask campus staff or students for directions as Waseda University is a well-known landmark in the area.
Alternatively, you can take bus 上69 (Toward Ueno Park) or 飯64 (Toward Kudanshita), then get off at Ground Saka-Shita stop. From there, the walk should takes around 3-5 minutes.
Note: Google Map will suggested getting off at Nishi-Waseda stop, but getting off at Ground Saka-Shita will result in a shorter walk.
